General description of the position:

The Call Center Agent is responsible for receiving and directing incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments, while providing excellent customer service and handling patient inquiries.

Key responsibilities:

  1. He answers the phone quickly and professionally.
  2. Route incoming calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  3. Respond to routine patient questions related to practice activities.
  4. Transmit or route written or verbal messages effectively.
  5. Informs team members of phone calls using interoffice communication tools.
  6. Confirm appointments by calling them on the phone.
  7. Maintain proficiency in EMR systems for effective record keeping.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned by the director.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a medical office preferred.
  • Preferably bilingual (Spanish/English).
