General description of the position:
The Call Center Agent is responsible for receiving and directing incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments, while providing excellent customer service and handling patient inquiries.
Key responsibilities:
- He answers the phone quickly and professionally.
- Route incoming calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Respond to routine patient questions related to practice activities.
- Transmit or route written or verbal messages effectively.
- Informs team members of phone calls using interoffice communication tools.
- Confirm appointments by calling them on the phone.
- Maintain proficiency in EMR systems for effective record keeping.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the director.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a medical office preferred.
- Preferably bilingual (Spanish/English).
