General Description of the position:
The cosmetologist provides hairdressing services, including hair and nail care, in a safe and professional environment. This role ensures a positive and relaxing experience for patients and visitors. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic manicure and pedicure services, including polishing.
- To provide hair cutting, grooming and styling services.
- Maintain salon supplies and manage inventory levels.
- Comply with health and safety procedures, including sterilization of tools.
- Comply with Florida Department of Health regulations.
- Participate in the necessary training and keep up to date with industry practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Administrator and/or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in similar functions.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- State license/certification required.
