General description of the position:
The Caregiver provides compassionate and professional care to patients in the Adult Day Care setting, ensuring their safety, comfort and well-being.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist patients with mobility and ambulation throughout Adult Day Care.
- Plan and assist in meal preparation and feeding.
- Accompany patients with support and kindness.
- Promptly report unusual incidents or patient concerns.
- Responds quickly and responsibly to emergencies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Administrator or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a caregiver.
- Knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Respectful, compassionate and ethical.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in similar functions.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
