General description of the position:

The Front Desk Representative ensures a pleasant and professional experience for patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Warmly greet patients and visitors upon arrival.
  2. He answers the phone quickly and professionally.
  3. Schedules primary care visits and other appointments.
  4. Accurately verifies patient insurance information.
  5. Collect and record co-payments and payments for services rendered.
  6. Confirms appointments with patients the day prior to scheduled visits.
  7. Safeguarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
  8. Skillfully utilizes EMR systems to maintain patient records.
  9. Coordinates transportation of patients when necessary.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned by the director.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous customer service experience in a medical environment preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Preferably bilingual (Spanish/English).
