General description of the position:

The Customer Service Representative assists patients and their families by answering questions, providing facility information and assisting with account inquiries.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Greet patients, visitors and family members cordially and professionally.
  2. Responds to patients' needs and concerns with empathy.
  3. Provides information about the center's services and physician availability.
  4. Reviews or updates patient accounts as needed.
  5. Handles complaints effectively and escalates to supervisors when necessary.
  6. Record details of patient interactions and measurements.
  7. Follow up with patients to ensure patient satisfaction.
  8. Skillfully utilizes EMR systems to maintain patient records.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned by the director.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA standards and practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in medical practices is preferred.
