Las Mercedes Medical Centers today announced the acquisition of Pasteur and Wellmax Medical Centers, one of the largest Medicare-focused staffing model medical centers in South Florida. With this acquisition, Las Mercedes Medical Centers will now serve more than 22,000 affiliated seniors at 26 facilities in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

With this expansion, Las Mercedes Medical Centers consolidates its leadership as the leading provider of healthcare for seniors in South Florida, especially in the area of

Hispanic community. The acquisition allows Las Mercedes to continue to provide its signature compassionate, patient-centered care while improving access to healthcare for a growing senior population throughout South Florida. As part of this transaction, the more than 700 associates of Pasteur and Wellmax will join Las Mercedes, further strengthening its ability to deliver high-quality care throughout its expanded network.

With this acquisition, Las Mercedes Medical Centers will ensure that the same high level of care continues, while expanding the range of services available to its members.
